Becoming a blogger is one of the best stay-at-home dad jobs, as it offers all the flexibility you need with the added bonus that you can write about whatever interests you.

If you consider yourself a pretty good writer, becoming a freelance writer could be a great opportunity for you, with a lot of major websites hiring freelance writers to produce content for them.
You don't even have to be an expert in every topic you write about. Instead, once you get your topic, simply do your research and produce a piece from there.

3. English teacher
Teaching English online is one of the best stay-at-home jobs for anyone, especially when you consider that you don't have to be a trained teacher to make good money here.
One of the best in the business is VIPKid, which pays up to $25 an hour for you to teach English online to students in China. They even provide all the teaching materials – all you have to do is show up and teach.
You will need a bachelors degree to work with VIPKid though, so if you don't have this, check out Magic Ears instead. Their pay rate is similar but they have slightly easier requirements, which may work for you better.

4. Proofreader
Proofreading jobs involve checking all sorts of documents for errors, making them a great stay-at-home dad job for those with an eye for detail. You'll find yourself reviewing documents like articles for websites, journal articles and even things like CVs.
And what makes it perfect for fathers who work at home is that you can work essentially whenever you want. That is, as long as you meet the deadline for each task, you're free to work whenever you can.

Participating in focus groups involves taking an hour or so to answer questions about a certain subject. This is often about a particular product, but can also be on a political issue, where your thoughts can help shape a campaign.

Designing products sounds like something that's way too hard, involving manufacturers, distributors and more. These days, however, it's way easier than that.

A lot of people seem to think that virtual assistant jobs, also known as VAs, are mainly something done by women but it's absolutely a good job for men too.
Working as a VA involves helping businesses with basically any sort of online task you can think of. Bookkeepers record all the money that's coming into and out of a business' account. This means it's one of the most important roles in any small business, but it also makes it a great job for stay-at-home dads given the flexibility involved.
While you don't need to have any sort of professional finance qualifications, having at least some affinity for numbers will help.

12. Freelancer
We mentioned freelance writing a bit earlier, but there's a whole other world of freelance positions out there that are great stay-at-home dad jobs.
If you have prior training in a particular role, you're almost guaranteed to be able to transfer that to a more freelance position. Alternatively, as long as you know your way around a computer, there are plenty of other freelance roles that you could be perfectly suited for.

A scopist's job basically involves editing transcripts of court proceedings. What happens is that a court reporter, who will actually be at a court hearing, will prepare an initial transcript of what happened. This will then be sent to a scopist to be tidied up and made more accurate.
This makes it similar to working as a proofreader although, given that the work is slightly more specialized, you can actually earn more money doing this. In particular, if you prove yourself to be able to submit good work on time, there'll be no shortage of people approaching you for your services here.

While most sites offering online tutoring jobs will require you to do a test in order to become a tutor with them, you don't need formal qualifications in your chosen subject or in teaching more generally to qualify.

This can also be a great part-time online job, if you prefer to hold sessions over platforms like Zoom. However, you're of course also free to meet with people in-person, and offering a mix of the services can actually make you more appealing to potential clients.
It's definitely going to help if you have some sort of qualifications in this area, whether that's specifically as a personal trainer or even something related like as a nutritionist.
